DESCRIPTION
Job description:
You'll own core backend systems that power Relay's agent execution engine - the infrastructure that processes millions of automated tasks across customer workflows. You'll design APIs, build queue systems, optimize database performance, and make decisions about architecture that directly shape the product. This isn't a role where you wait for specs. You'll talk to customers, understand operational bottlenecks, and ship solutions end-to-end.
REQUIREMENTS
Job requirements:
5+ years backend experience, strong in Python or Go, deep understanding of distributed systems, experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS), comfortable with PostgreSQL at scale. Bonus: experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
